Dr Babak Zamiri, M.D., FACR, is the President and Medical Director of Arthritis Medical Clinic and the Osteoporosis Diagnostic Imaging and Treatment Centre. He also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine and is board-certified in Rheumatology.
Dr Babak Zamiri specialises in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
His practice incorporates advanced diagnostic and treatment modalities, including DEXA scanning for osteoporosis and musculoskeletal ultrasound for a range of rheumatologic conditions.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine.
He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, followed by a Rheumatology fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Babak Zamiri is actively involved in research and medical education.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and Riverside County Medical Association. He has participated in numerous research studies, authored multiple publications, and serves on advisory boards for organisations such as the Arthritis Foundation.
Dr Babak Zamiri has been recognised as one of America’s Top Physicians annually since 2007. He is also dedicated to community outreach, regularly delivering educational lectures throughout the Inland Empire.
