Biography

Dr Nayef Kazzaz, M.D., FACR, is a board-certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, followed by fellowship training in Rheumatology at the University of Michigan Health System, where he was honoured with the William D. Robinson Rheumatology Society Award for excellence during fellowship.

Dr Nayef Kazzaz also earned a master’s degree in Clinical and Translational Sciences from the University of Kentucky, where he later served as an Assistant Professor. In this role, he was actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to both clinical education and academic development.

His clinical expertise centres on the management of complex rheumatologic diseases, with a particular focus on systemic autoimmune conditions, including lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome. He has authored multiple publications in these areas, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based care.
