Asbat Hasan, M.D.

Dr. Asbat Hasan, M.D. is a hometown native of Riverside, CA. He attended Ramona High School and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Biology at UC Riverside. He was then accepted into the distinguished Thomas Haider program and earned his M.D. at UC Riverside, where he trained in the community and regularly volunteered in the local free clinics to provide care for the underserved populations in the Inland Empire. He received the "Medical Student of the Year" award from Riverside Community Hospital. After graduating from medical school, he completed his internship and residency In Internal Medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology at UC Irvine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Hasan has a personal interest in treating patients with Lupus, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Sjorgens Syndrome, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He also performs joint injections with ultrasound guidance. He is passionate about teaching and patient education.

Dr. Hasan is a member of several societies including the American College of Rheumatology and California Rheumatology Alliance.

In his spare time, Dr. Hasan enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends, as well as traveling and discovering new foods.
